I am very grateful for the work that was done. This company demonstrates a wonderful work ethic and timely results!
Absolutely wouldn't recommend this contractor. He didn't start job took $4000 deposit and wouldn't return money.
I did not have a good experience with this company. If I could do it all over i would go with a different company and spare myself the headache.
OMG !!!! I close on Friday had to have the roof replaced after a inspection found hail damage I never knew was there !!!nStress city right NOPE!! Home Improvement to the rescue!! They worked with the insurance company to get the deal done by meeting with the adjuster. They knew that time was not on my side . Well ......... I could not believe it ....nThey fixed the roof completely replaced it !!!!nIn 3 1/2 HOURS!!!!!! A big crew came and did a amazing job . I have never seen a group work together any better!nAnd In 3 1/2 hours they left no foot print !!! Not 1 piece of trash in my yard my neighbors yard nothing !!!nVery pleased isn’t big enough of a statement!nYou won’t find any better, my stress level is 0!!!nHe will be doing all of my neighbors roofs as well. I will use them for other projects at my next house and will definitely trust them with my business.nEven if time is not your stress it might be that every roofing company in town is calling every 10 minutes let the guys take care of you home.nI know they put my mind at ease and I’ll get a good nights sleep finally in 2 weeks!
I had an Absolutely terrible experience with Home Improvement Inc!!! I felt that Stephan started off as “nice” but by the end I felt belittled and taken advantage of. We met, we agreed on a price. I made it very clear that if he needed more money that he has to get that approved by my insurance company BEFORE starting work. Of course he did NOT do that so when it was time to submit he turned in the paperwork the FOLLOWING week of the date he told me it would be submitted. He told me that the shed roofing was done and that there were 10 men who completed the roof. Two things that I never asked for, but these were two things that increased the cost of the job. He was fully aware that I was in the process of selling my house BEFORE we signed the contract and that I had a strict deadline to adhere to. His decision to proceed with unauthorized work (the shed roof) could’ve caused me to push back my closing date. The crew also did not clean up their nails afterwards and a nail was stuck in my tire, a few more inches to the outside and Discount Tire would NOT have been able to fix it (discount tire specifically told me it was a ROOFING nail). We also verbally agreed that he would get the second half of my deductible when the 2nd insurance check came in, he conveniently forgot that conversation and hassled the hell out of me for the money which forced me to use my mother's credit card. And the FINAL straw was he circumvented me and called my realtor DEMANDING my title company contact information. He kept saying “I need to send you a lien release” well come to find out he didn’t even have a lien on my property. He was very pushy and demanding with both me and my realtor and I don’t think it’s right for a older man to talk to a woman in that way. I believe every contractor should be paid for their services however, Stephan did not communicate his intent to get money directly from the proceeds of my house sale, and he added an enormous amount of stress the few days before my closing. In my opinion Stephan is a TERRIBLE communicator. Personally I wished I went with this big company, K&H although I try my hardest to support small business. This experience has made it difficult for me to trust small business. I'll be registering my complaint with the BBB as well.
