Had a couple issues, but due to the over-the-top effort of Carla Douglas Lovett, I was able to get those kinks sorted out in the best and most efficient way possible. Cannot thank her enough for my help. Wonderful person.
I never share my experiences or write reviews but after my experience at the Castro building yesterday I wanted to share. I was dropping off paperwork for my food stamps when Claudia Chavez, I seen from her ID badge. She talked down to me and was extremely rude to me during trying to turn in my paperwork. I had never been treated that way. I feel uncomfortable to even return to this place because of that horrible woman.
They denied me my benefits for January and February even tho I had no income and no job. I re-applied Jan 7 and should have gotten my benefits from the time I applied. Instead i was denied because i was unable to make it to an appointment while it was snowing and temperatures of single digits or less. I get it tho, while they sit inside their comfy offices and are warm some people are outside 90% of the time just trying to survive, but they care more about how they can refuse someone benefits instead of basing their decision on the Food stamp guidelines. Very wrong. I'll pray for them tho.

When will y’all fix your phone system and after setting an appointment over the phone for a interview for assistance why are y’all not calling at that time why do we have to call in check in come on the holds are long it’s time for Denver to start hiring because you obviously need help
