I visited Denver DMV Northwest Branch on 9/14/2020 at about 1:30 PM to register a Vehicle and get license plates. The line appeared long (about up to the Hair Salon next to the DMV), but moved quickly because very few people were allowed in the office at a given time. COVID procedures were solid. Once inside, the process of registering my truck and getting license plates was incredibly easy. I was helped by Angie, who I think should get an award for how polite and helpful she was. It can be a thankless job to work at a DMV, but she made my experience excellent. I was very impressed at the level of service provided by this DMV.nnKey Take-aways:nn1. The line outside might appear long, but it moved quickly in my case (15 - 20 minutes)nn2. Service inside of the DMV was superb and exceeded my expectations (big thank you to Angie)

They stop accepting at 2:30 regardless of whether they have zero people in line. Typical Denver.. your tax money hard at work
IT WAS 3PM WHEN I ARRIVED ON A FRIDAY AVE THE WHOLE STAFF WAS OUTSIDE SMOKING CIGARETTES AVA TOLD ME THEY WERE CLOSED THE LAST PERSON TO GET A NUMBER HAD TO BE AT 230 THERE WAS 4 PEOPLE OUTSIDE WISHING THE SAME THING I WAS AND THERE WAS NO ONE THERE THEY COULD'VE HELPED US BUT NO THEY DECIDED TO SPEND THE REST OF THERE PAID TIME DOING NOTHING!! AND GET PAID FOR IT. UNBELIEVABLE
I understand, it's a difficult job. People coming with insufficient paperwork and requesting impossible, or maybe you are just bitter that you've been stuck doing the same thing for the last 30 years, or maybe you just don't care because your job is protected and people can't go anywhere else. The thing is that demand will always shape the product/service. I'd suggest you modify your customer service model before citizens outsource your functions to a third party company.
