A & A Historical Trails

We had a wonderful day. Riding on a trail that the horses knew was very was reassuring for my husband .( He had never riden before. ) we happen to have a little snow from a storm many days prior . So it was chilly . The area is beautiful . I will definitely be back. Spring and summer. They are closed for the winter. Enjoy . Thank you ,Ginger.

A&A Trails was great! My family of 6 went on a horse ride recently and enjoyed the whole experience. We all had little to no experience riding and Ginger and the guides taught us how to maneuver the horses and made it so we were comfortable. We were able to trot with them at times which made it even more fun! There was an error in the amount I was charged for the ride, but after I reached out about the situation Ginger contacted me immediately and issued a refund correcting the error and was very professional and pleasant to work with. We will definitely be going back and have other friends who will be booking rides through A&A. I highly recommend this tour to all looking for a fun adventure!

This place was wonderful! 4 of us (and our tour guide) went on the 1.5 hour ride and we wish we had done the 2 hour ride! Our tour guide was so great, the horses were well behaved, and the scenes were beautiful. The owner isn't rude (as I've read in other reviews) but is direct and funny/sarcastic. She is definitely a country horse gal who isn't going to tailor her demeanor for the faint of heart. We loved the experience and will definitely be back! Thanks y'all!

Let me start by saying I am not a person to post reviews, let alone negative reviews almost ever. I would just like to spread some awareness on the experience I had.nWe walked up about 5 minutes late(1:35)and the owner was extremely rude about it even though we weren’t supposed to start our ride until 2pm. We were rushed to “sign in”, NO WAIVER SIGNED, and given a 20 second briefing on “the rules” of riding the horse.nListen, these are thousand pound animals and I’d never been on one before. I would have appreciated a little more explanation on how to ride and HOW TO DEAL WITH AN EMERGENCY SITUATION.nThe ride was truly beautiful up in the mountains, the guide was sweet but again didn’t provide much direction. Then we turned around and were rushed to go right back the way we came because we were “way behind schedule “ even though there was still supposed to be 40 minutes left of our ride.nComing up to the stables at the end the guide stopped suddenly because someone had dropped their phone, and all the horses got close to each other when she stopped. Suddenly the horses in front and behind me got disgruntled and started kicking and bucking, and the horse behind me turned around and KICKED ME twice In the leg, then my horse started bucking and I flew off and landed on my back.nI was extremely shaken up by it, but the WORST part is the owner proceeded to BLAME me for not giving the horses their bubble! Let me remind you, never been on a horse before, was given 20 seconds of direction, and the guide suddenly stopped and created all the horses to cram together.nI realize incidents happen, and I Am extremely lucky that the situation didn’t end worse. But for the owner to shake her finger in my face and blame me for the horses reaction and not even ask if I was ok is just BEYOND!nI write this review to provide some awareness to the way the facility is being ran. It’s a beautiful ride, but just be careful and be aware!

What a great ride this was! We went on a 1.5 hour ride and the trail was absolutely amazing! Dee our guide was fun and informative! Definitely will be doing this ride again!
