Frank's Appliance Service

We called Frank's for a dryer repair. Steve arrived on time the following day. His service was professional, friendly & efficient. We paid a great fair price for the work, and Steve took the time to explain everything thoroughly to us. We were very pleased with our experience and highly recommend Frank's Appliance Service (and in particular Steve).

Justin was very professional and helpful with me and helping repair my refrigerator! It had a small leak and needed a new filter, and he was in and out in no time! Great service

Early this week my wife called Frank's Appliance to give make, model number and error code information from our washing machine and asked if it could be repaired. They said they would look into it.....Thursday morning the technician arrived, turned the machine on, and confirmed the displayed code that my wife had given earlier over the telephone. The technician then recommended unplugging the machine. So I helped him move the machine away from the wall, unplugged the electrical cord, then plugged it back in and the technician confirmed his earlier assessment and said that the main circuit board needed to be replaced and told me that the part was no longer available. He did not open his tool box or take anything apart on the washer.nnHe then said he would not charge for the diagnostics, but would have to charge $80 for the service call. He was at my place for a total of about five minutes and had about a three mile drive from his place of business to my home.nnBased on the information that was given to Frank's Appliance by my wife over the telephone early in the week, they could have easily checked and told my wife that the main circuit board was no longer available and saved us the expense of their service call.nnWe have had an ongoing business relationship with Frank's Appliance for years and after my experience yesterday, I wondered what has changed? So, this morning I called Frank's Appliance again and asked if Frank was available and was told that Frank recently retired and the business is now under new management. They agreed to email an invoice to my wife for their five minute, eighty dollar service call. End of story.nnI regret this outcome and would urge future customers to call someone else for any business related needs.nnUpdate: August 17, 2020nnThis morning, Frank's grandson called me to follow up. We discussed the circumstances relating to my unflattering review from last week.nI am appreciative for the dialogue that ensued and offer for a refund.nnIt is important for our community to have and maintain positive outcomes between customers and local service providers. I am now hopeful and optimistic for the future of Frank's Appliance.

John and Stacy were excellent to work with. More than a fair price! It was cool to see Cannon City as well.
