If you are looking for second-hand items there are about 100 other places you can go to and I assure you will get better quality/prices/service.nI actually used to work at Lil' Kids Stuff and never have I seen a business so disorganized in my life. The problem is I was working for someone who not only didn't care about her employee's, she didn't care about the customers either. When it came to the workers we were not allowed to have breaks no matter how long the shift, and the other girls were working 11 hours in a row with the boss spying on us on a security system to make sure we were never able to sit down. My co-worker was fired for sitting down once during a 9 hour shift. No joke.nWe were never given any power to fix any of the concerns customers had. And when she was supposed to follow up with them, if she didn't reach them the first time she would never call back. So us girls were forced on a daily basis to deal with angry customers that we had absolutely no power to fix their problems and a boss that would not do her job and we had to clean up the mess. There were also debt collectors calling every day and she left us without critical supplies and change for the cash register for weeks at a time and paid us late.nBut it's the customers that really end up getting screwed. The merchandise is insanely overpriced and customers would comment on it every single day. They also complained that the place was dirty and so dark that they thought we were closed. And more items that I can count were sold broken, with missing pieces, or just plain old dirty and no one seemed to care. So many people would come in and accuse the company of stealing money or merchandise from them, and after hearing it so many times I knew there was obviously something wrong with the way she ran her business. I felt like I was being forced to do something that was wrong, so I just disappeared one day after she axed my co-worker for sitting down. I worked at the Citadel location, but no matter what the problems lie with the running of the business not the location itself.
