I qualified for emergency assistance and was given a food stamps card with no money on it and the man who gave it to me never mentioned that or anything about the pin number and didn't even assign one to the card (which I was told at another human service center) so I was unable to reset it over the phone or in person and the same man told me I should have gone to the Aurora Municipal Court for the ebt card or to update info. Aurora Municipal Court doesn't have anything to do with human services or food stamps.. I'm still working on getting something to eat and it would've been more worth my time to go to ready man day labor than get run around to three different places across town and still have to beg and cry for the security guard to help me when I finally got to the right person in the right human service center. However, at the Pecos location I got a new card with a pin that I can reset finally, and I can check to see if any money is on the card within 2 days so hopefully It'll come through but in Aurora or Adams county you shouldn't assume this will take any less than two weeks of headache to get through (unless maybe if you hablas)

The lobby functions are easy and fast. The staff are very helpful 9 times out 10 you'll get great results. Also at this location every Wednesday there's a foodbank just down the hall and if you have a driver's license or ID card with a Denver address you can get a couple days worth of groceries.

I had a scheduled appointment at 1 never got a call back for my appointment. Super unprofessional. I was waiting all day for the call.
