Williams Family Dentistry

I had to find a new dentist after signing up for Medicare this year. I don't like going to a new healthcare provider without a personal referral from friends or family; however, I hit the jackpot with Williams Family Dentistry!nnI concur with all the positive reviews I read before I scheduled my first appointment. They have a great team! Dr. Johnson was very professional, proficient, and personable; and Heather, her Dental Hygienist, was equally terrific!nnThe week after my appointment I was eating a bowl of raspberries and a seed lodged in my gum. I tried using a dental pick and floss to dislodge it, but I only managed to wedge it deeper into my gum. I finally called the office and they graciously worked me into their busy schedule the same day. I truly appreciated their prompt and professional courtesy.nnNow I am going to eat some popcorn to see if I can get a husk or a kernel wedged in my gum just so I can visit them again!

I’ve been with this dentist for 3yrs now, and have to say up until today my experience was pretty good. I haven’t had the greatest history with my teeth, and it’s something I’m pretty embarrassed about. I went in today for an emergency appointment with tooth pain, I’d previously had a root canal done on this tooth, and come to find out that not all of the root had been cleaned out, it was done by another dentist, not by them. I felt completely shamed as the dentist read out my history, I felt like she was annoyed by me, basically saying I have had so many problems, and that my history isn’t great. I also brought up that I had to go to an emergency dentist bc I thought they were closed on the weekends, and she seemed annoyed that I went to the emergency dentist. It was a very condescending experience, and was basically told I’m going to need a second root canal, and good luck. No sympathy offered or any kind of medication to alleviate my pain or antibiotic for the infection. I was laid off from my job due to COVID-19 & have no dental insurance, so yeah not an ideal situation at all. And no help from this dentist, other then the receptionist who was super friendly & caring. It’s not an ideal situation at all, and I typically do not go out of my way to leave these kind of reviews, but this was a terrible experience. I’m scared, worried and to go here, be treated in this manner, well all I can say is I’m extremely disappointed. I will be looking for another dentist.

Great service. They did not try to upsell like I was finding with other dentists. Will continue to use them from now on.

The folks here are real pros. All the work I’ve gotten done is top notch, and the people are friendly too, enough so to keep me going to the dentist regularly (which I’m usually quite bad at). They also didn’t make me feel bad when I’ve had to cancel - no biggie, just reschedule. Add all this to their unusually early morning availability for us working people, and you can’t go wrong.

Molly Johnson and the support staff are all real pros. I was treated really well and my teeth were treated really well.
