Michelle did a great job tuning my piano. She was on time, very professional and meticulous in the process. I was so impressed with her that I started taking piano lessons from her and have continued this for the last 8 months. The challenge was that I wanted to learn to play blues piano and she readily admitted that she was classically trained and not sure it would be a good fit. It turns out that once I found the right Blues book to learn from, she has been able to really support me in my progress , filling in the important subtle details I need to get it right.
My main focus when I was taking lessons with Michelle was sight reading. She made sure I was following the score correctly and helped me immensely in improving my sight reading skills. One time I was playing a classical piece using sheet music in front of an accomplished pianist and she commented that I must have had a very good teacher who taught me to sight read. Michelle is a wonderful teacher who makes sure you are progressing in your musical journey.
I have been a student of Michelle's for 3 years, and my experience has been outstanding. She is knowledgeable and patient. She is responsive to the kinds of things I want to learn, and she is creative in her teaching approach. Working with Michelle is a pleasure, and I look forward to our lesson every week.
My son has been learning piano from Michelle for about 2 years. She is patient, reassuring, and an expert! He began piano when he was 4, and now with remote learning its became a routine and confidence builder!
Michelle is a talented dedicated piano teacher who taught me to read and play the piano. She is kind and patient with her students, wanting them to succeed in mastering this instrument. I highly recommend her!!!!
