Under new management! YES! I SAID IT UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! MY CHILDHOOD CHINESE RESTAURANT IS BACK!nSo got a wild hair and decided to go back for some to go soup. I hadn't been feeling good. Found out while I was there it was sold and the new owner was there. The environment was simple and pleasant. The food was great! It was just like I remember when I was a kid! I was so proud I took my family back and the service was over the top. If you are looking for a wonderful sit down restaurant this is the sweet spot!

Delicious food and good service. We accidentally ordered the wrong thing online went in and had it corrected with no problem. I haven't been in a few years, it was definitely over do. East Cafe will be our default go to for now on! Sesame chicken and combination fried rice is what I recommend for this review. Will try a different dish for the next.

I have been coming here since I was a kid and I still love it today. I get take out quite often and I am always happy with the food! Tye staff is Super curtious and the food is delicious! You have got to try!!!

Used to Love East Cafe. Been going here since 2008. Food and customer service USED to be great. However, I noticed a change. My favorite dish, General's Chicken is not the same. It has this weird red sauce that it didn't have before. Brought it up to management several times but they insist it's the same recipe. IT'S NOT! What used to be a great General's Chicken now has this bright red sauce with no flavor. I also noticed the customer service is not that great now. The lady who takes the order over the phone has an attitude and often rushes you off the phone. As much as I used to love them, I think I will have to find a new place :(

Worst experience ever with a Chinese restaurant. Not only did they get my order wrong but the person that answered the phone around 11:30 PM on 11/23/2020 argued with me and told me I was wrong. She then explained to me that she was speaking to the person I spoke with (I doubt that, I am pretty sure I was already talking to the person I ordered from) and told me that I was told my order of chow mein would not come with noodles and crunchy noodles were on the bottom. I got NO noodles with my order at all. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was then manager. Another lie, if she was then she would know how to empathize and talk to a customer instead of arguing the whole time and saying they are wrong.nnAfter they replied, all they did was apologize to the above review. You would think they would have better customer service and empathy. Regardless, I have seen multiple complaints about their customer service mostly on various websites but also I saw complaints about the same thing I called to complain about, their chow mein.
