Fantastic team of medical professionals. We think nurse Laura is the best! So kind and patient with my kiddo.

Went in today because of concerns in 3rd trimester of pregnancy. I asked why I haven’t had any urine tests this pregnancy and was just kind of brushed off. This was my first ultrasound that was painful out of over a dozen I’ve had. I think you really have to look out for yourself and do your own research because the doctors and nurses are too busy to spend the time to inform.

I've been with Kaiser Colorado, since I retired, 7 year ago. It perfectly complements my Medicare plan and provides me with access to some of the finest professionals in medicine.

I’ve been to the kaiser facilities in Northern California, and this by far is the most efficient, most modern facility I’ve been to with the friendliest staff. They even have a self-check in kiosk, which is awesome. Kudos to the entire team here.nnThe only gripe I have about Kaiser in Colorado is that they have very little training & experience dealing with LGBTG+ patients. 1) whenever I request for a routine STD/HIV test, there are always eyebrows being raised. 2) I repeatedly had to explain to them that I needed swabs done (in addition to blood test) as part of my normal routine screening. 3) And when it gets ordered, I have to explain to all the staff that no, I do NOT want any staff to collect my rectal swab—there’s a lot of privacy and comfort issue there. In Northern California, this is part of a simple routine STD/HIV test. This keeps happening, and I have to keep from zero whenever I come in which is exhausting and uncomfortable.nnDon’t get me wrong— I love Kaiser & love Colorado Kaiser even more, and I will continue to use them as my primary care facility. But, I hope as Aurora’s and Denver’s patient population becomes more diverse, I hope there’s more sensitivity training and more knowledge being shared on how to beat serve the needs of the LGBTQ+ population. We need to encourage and make people comfortable to do routine STD/HIV screenings and not create an environment that will indirectly stigmatize this responsible and healthy habit ❤ufe0f

Dr. Plunkett is an amazing physician. I would recommend her to anyone seeking for a new physician.
