Dr Varner just removed the wrong tooth for my crown. He took the large molar BEHIND the tooth with the blatantly obvious cracked, loose and decayed filling. I honestly have no conception how this could even happen. Took 4 hours for the novocaine to wear off enough for me to notice - hey there’s still a jagged hole, did he over drill into the neighboring tooth? I look in the mirror and nope - he took entirely the wrong tooth! So so very angry.nEdited to update: He was very responsive to the problem. Genuinely apologetic and quickly fixed the problem tooth for free. Arranging to have both crowns made together for a nice fit. Note the tooth he took originally did have issues, it just was not the one I went in for - the broken one.nUpped rating to 3 stars. Bad initial experience made better by genuine human response to a mistake. No run around, no argument that it was on him to fix it.
I HATE going to the dentist. Many bad experiences. Dr. Varner is one of the BEST, most patient, competent dentists I've seen. His compassion for his patients is amazing. I finally found a dentist that I can trust! He really is the BEST.
