Just ordered here for delivery tonight.nnI don’t usually feel compelled to immediately go write a review after an experience unless the experience was horrible and I want to warn people, but my experience with Crystal Island was very lovely!nnFirst of all, the nice man who delivered our food was kind enough to wait until he saw me come the door before he turned to leave. When I opened the door he waved at me and I told him thank you for delivering, and as he walked off he said “it’s my pleasure, have good night!”. I could tell that he smiled at me behind his face mask. Most delivery people are nice but for some reason the interaction with him was especially warm.nnThen the food was exactly what we were craving. I find it hard to mess up Chinese food, so I’ve actually had very few negative experiences with Chinese restaurants so I was not surprised that the food was very good. It was piping hot and my sweet and sour chicken tasted fresh and not like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. I can usually tell by the texture of something has been sitting under a lamp for a while. My husband liked his appetizer and chowed down on his entree and almost finished a large order General Tso’s by himself.nnNeedless to say, this place is a safe bet if you are craving Chinese food. We were pleased and will be ordering from Crystal Island again.

Good food for a great price. The whole staff is super nice. I had probably purchased from them 3 times before the knew my name and order on site. I'm so happy to have them in my neighborhood!

The place we used to order from is no longer there, so we decided to try this restaurant. I chose wisely. The lady on the phone was very nice, the food was fresh and way tasted better than other's I've tried. The delivery guy was nice, too. I will be ordering from here again.

I've been here in Thornton my whole life which is a long time when I stop and think about it but Chrystal island is at least top five Chinese restaurants in town. I stopped in this last time to get Chinese donuts for dessert and was happy I did. It's funny how a simple ball of fried dough rolled in sugar can taste so good

Order for the first time, new to the area, did online ordering easy and quick delivery, portions where plenty, food was hot and tasty. The cute little sugar donuts added bonus was delish.
