We moved to a different area or our kids would still be going. The staff are the greatest ones that I have met, one teacher lives three houses away from school and always says hi, the front office people are so nice and caring....what more could I ask for. it is a smaller school so the staff usually knows who you are= oh u are xxxxxx's mom/dad, how are you?=. Teacher had my kid/s call from their (teacher's) personal cell if there was any issue at all.....missing homework, not listening, etc. but not in a negative way. In a way that would fix the issue right then and there while the parent and kid talked on the phone. Also, they would send notes home to tell you good things about your kid/a as well. Never had any bullying issues there that I know about. Like a small town school in a big city. Made me feel very safe with my kids going there. No fast fast traffic, no drugs, or problems in this area. One thing though, they were a little behind in regards to state standards according to the state, but I did not see it. The staff is the greatest. Walk in one day and check it out for yourself. Be involved and the kids will be fine. 200 students or so in this small school..great.
