Vibra Hospital of Denver

In the middle of July this year, the mitral valve in my heart failed and I had to have open heart surgery to have it repaired. This was followed by a hospital stay and then my first visit to Vibra. Because I’d been away from home for over a week, I really wanted to get back home, but what I didn’t realize was the problems I was having with my heart were not yet over.nnI was away from Vibra for only 3 days when my heart began to beat at a dangerously rapid rate. This was followed by another week long stay at the hospital where doctors worked to get my heart rate back under control. Recovering from atrial fibrillation was even more physically demanding for me than from the initial heart surgery I underwent to have my mitral valve fixed.nnI spent another week and a half at Vibra for my second visit, but this time, I realized I needed their help now more than ever. For the first five days I was there, I was completely exhausted and slept most of the day because of all the heart medications I was on to slow my heart rate. However, all the people working at Vibra were there to help me recover. The nurses kept a careful watch on my heart rate during that time, which dipped as low as 36 beats per minute. Then, on the sixth day, the dosages I was taking for those medications were cut in half, and I quickly began to regain my energy level and my strength. For the remainder of my stay, I felt better every day until the day I was discharged, and things have continued to improve for me ever since.nnI have never written a detailed thank you letter to a business, but in that letter, I thanked everyone from the doctors and nurses to the physical and occupational therapists who worked with me to help me regain my strength so I could go home. To anyone at Vibra reading this, you have my permission to use or quote from the letter I wrote praising everyone for their efforts and excellent service. If there’s anyone I know in the future who is in need of physical rehabilitation, I’ll be sure to recommend Vibra Healthcare as a place to go for help.

My husband was at Vibra for two weeks after having a fall. He had a spinal cord injury when he was younger and has dealt with the effects of it for years. Both of us thought the staff was excellent. Even though it was a hard couple of weeks he had excellent therapists and a case worker, Julie, who helped us the whole time and even after our stay. I can’t thank her enough. Also, Anne, a physical therapist was very helpful.

My mother in law stayed here for a fractured pelvis. She was released Thursday Nov. 12, 2020. Tonight Friday Nov 13, 2020 she receives a phone call telling her the covid test on 11/11/2020 came out positive. Now she has exposed our family. I thought Vibra would have better protocol for releasing patients. They should have received her results before she was sent home and should have been quarented her from the day of test until she came home.nSo much for trusting a Hospital. I hope we all survive. She is 87, we are 66 and 64......

Vibra is a great place for rehabilitation. Rosie and Ben has been a great experience with the staff. I’m going to return to get more rehabilitation. I can’t wait ud83dude0aud83dude0aud83dude0aud83dude0a

my father was a patient here only for a few short weeks but the PT and OT worked so well with him and gave us pretty good support. The case managers were amazing too!
