These people saved my life! I’ve been going for 16 months and have had superb, compassionate care at all times. I’ve had individual and group therapy and have been extremely pleased. If you’re ready to do the work, they have excellent guides for your journey.

I'm saddened that Dr matus is gone but he was a good doctor!

As a Higher functioning patient I often felt less prioritized than the severly ill. Though triage is a common practice in medical situations where the staff is overwhelmed by the number of patients. as a standing patient monthly-bi monthly sessions with a therapists hardly do me anygood and the policy of requiring therapy with medication doesnt really serve the higher functioning patients like me who are able to keep jobs. The front desk staff is often snarky and throws up walls of red tape surrounding notes for the workplace and have no willinging ness to help much beyond the scope of sceduling your next apointment and whatever else they do on the computers. There is one lady, older who is soft spoken and kind. She is exempt from my complaints

Here’s part of the letter I just received in the mail from Community Reach:nnJuly 19th 2018n“If you do not make and keep an appointment within two weeks of the date above, we will assume that you are no longer in need and will discontinue scheduling services at Community Reach Center”nnI just got the letter on July 27th so I have six days to make and keep an appointment or you guys are pushing me out of your service. Two of the next six days are the weekend. It doesn’t matter that I work ten hour days and have to plan far in advance to make these appointments. My employer requires me to request time off far in advance and I’m not capable of doing that with six days remaining to make it in for an appointment. If I request the time off now I jeopardize my employment. I currently have appointments already scheduled with the doctor two months from now, and I’ve rarely ever canceled them In the last two years that I’ve been with you guys. Though I have these appointments already scheduled with the doctor, It somehow isn’t enough for you guys to consider me as still needing service somehow. I have planned blood tests with said doctor, but it looks like that doesn’t matter now that I am being forced out of your service.nnAnd all of this is because I had a disagreement with a counselor and requested a meds only plan as was suggested by the previous counselor that I spent two years with.nnJuly 27th afternoon update:nnThank you Nicole for the personal insults over the phone telling me how I’m not a grown up for opening my mail on time and returning voicemails. This is how you treat people who come into your clinic with mental health issues? I left you three voicemails as well and I most certainly opened my mail and received the letter. Yet somehow I’m not a grown up because I didn’t open my mail sooner? And somehow I’m not a grown up because I didn’t return your calls even though I left you multiple voicemails?nnI have always requested to see a therapist that is a woman. Ever since I’ve gone to counseling I have always requested a woman. Nicole told me that none of the female therapists were available on any Fridays for the next few months and that I would have to see a male therapist. Within the last two years the two female therapists I’ve seen have always helped work around my schedule to get me in and I have a really hard time beleiving there isn’t one female therapist open in the next two to three months on a Friday at any time of the day. I made the appointment to see a male therapist because I have no other choice if I want to keep seeing the perscribing doctor for medications. I told her I felt uncomfortable with a male, but my discomfort was quickly pushed aside in place of childish insults.nnAugust 14th update:nnI have most definitely been pushed out of Community Reach Center’s service. I attempted to switch to another Community Reach office location in order to find doctors and counselors to see me on a Friday. I was told the manager said that I couldn’t switch doctors in order to find accommodations for my work schedule. I have no choice but to find another doctors office if I want to get my medication.nnLast edit:nnI have had three or four appointments scheduled that I did not make. Today I have a scheduled appointment for Monday at 4:00 yet I have had the same work schedule that has me working mondays at that time. I am forced to cancel an appointment I did not make.nnThank you Community Reach Center.

Only thing I would change is the wait time when calling. Other than that I've had a great experience!
