We didn't realize that the visitor center closed an hour earlier during the off-season and we showed up after it had closed. A woman who worked there heard us try the door and came outside to help us with information! She was so kind to go out of her way to make our visit a good one.
A genuinely nice place to discover redwoods and the coast. People are helpful and nice. Trail are well marked and still wild...nDefinitely a must have seen place in North California!
Unfriendly staffs. They wasted us lots of time asked unnecessary questions. They gave us false information. It's only half hour drive but the old man told us 1 hour. Also wrong trail information. Wrong trail head and wrong trail length. We wasted hours to find the trail head. I would advise go other visitor center for real information.
Great little info and gift center. We were assisted by Rich, he was great! Very knowledgeable, good at giving directions for the Redwoods, and identifying what folks would want to see and do. He made it possible for us to get the most out of our trip.nnThanks Rich!
