I love it here at Glory Reins. If you have a love of horses and want to learn to ride with a good foundation, this is the place. No experience necessary, as I did not know a thing about riding horses. All of the trainers have taken their time to teach me how to properly handle a horse.nnDede, MaryPat, and Mickey are all wonderful trainers. They are very patient and willing to work with you.

The place itself is great and the horses are taken care of. But the staff needs to work on their social skills.nWe had an accident here, coming into the school’s gate, which was open, the gate closed into our car. Iufe0f had two of my kids sitting at the back (3 y.o and a 10 month old) completely shocked and scared. The car was brutally damaged, with the repairs going for 3 weeks now. Which means we have to rent a different car for the duration of the repairs and pay for it ourselves. My husband spoke of the matter with his insurance and we asked the insurance not to send the bill for our repairs to the school as we felt bad for them because they are a non-profit school.nImagine my shock when the owner of the place casually sends me a message that she will give me the bill for the gate repairs. She said it was broken from hitting it. Then she goes on to tell me she didnt see our damaged car, which she of course did right when we met. Not even acknowledging the fact that my 10 month old was sitting at the side of the car where the gate hit us!! Which could be a law suit if we wished to proceed with it.nThey told me the repairs guy checked the sensors of the gate and they worked fine. From what Iufe0f see those “working” gates completely smashed our car. And then they tried to blame us, trying to use our kindness.nWe also provided some cookies for their charity event and not once did Iufe0f hear “thank you” or even “hello” when communicating with the owner of this place. So they do take their riders for granted Iufe0f should say. To me this is an indication of bad manners and unprofessional handling of the situation.
