I don't normally give five stars unless the place is truly outstanding. In my 20 years in Camarillo I've had maybe a dozen situations that required a visit to city hall and every single visit has been great. All staff has been efficient and pleasant, and seem to have keen memories. Little if any waiting, and a pleasant place to visit.

Great City, clean and friendly, with excellent year round weather! Not much of a nightlife, but plenty of great food.

Super helpful, friendly staff. Comfy chairs. Over the counter solar permitting for systems under 10 kW makes my job so much easier!nGoogle Maps might get confused on the routing as soon as you get near the parking lot, but fear not! It's right on the corner of Carmen and Ponderosa.
