Awesome visitor center filled with educational staff, exhibits and an amazing junior ranger program for children. There is a beach within walking distance of the visitor center with plenty of parking and space to hang out.

Enjoyed my visit. Staff very helpful. Great view from above. Along with lovely garden. This place is free lots of free parking worth a visit.

It’s a lovely spot to visit even if you can’t make it out to the islands. They have a few displays and are super friendly and great with the kids! The gift shop is at an awkward angle if there are lots of guests but loads of cute things related to the area and national parks in general. We were able to walk from here to Harbor Village and then over to “Mother’s Beach” and there were plenty of great places to stop and eat or browse. Parking was free!

My younger brothers and I absolutely love this Channel Island visitor center!! It's a place where we can learn more about the islands we see all the time. Last visit was our first time watching a short film in the little theater. Any time we are in the Ventura Harbor Village we stop here to walk up the incredible stairway and enjoy the magnificent 360 views of Ventura harbor.
