Super friendly staff, both personable and professional! Dr. Burwell was very kind and took the time to help me understand everything about my kitty's wonky eye, even though I'm sure a lot of my questions were very dumb! :D I feel very comfortable to have my pets in such good hands!
Best care for my senior 14.5 year old Mastiff/Boxer-- had two keratotomies successfully accomplished here, and knew he was in the most capable of hands. Eye care for pets in general can be overlooked by caretakers, and it is of utmost importance that we care for our pets with specialists. Our old boy was so grateful to the doctor and caretakers at Eye Care for Animals in Santa Rosa-- they cared for him like he was their own. We were extremely confident with their gentle demeanor and skilled expertise-- he was bright eyed and bushy-tailed til the end. Healthy eyes = happy pups!
Dr Burwell is an amazing surgeon. I highly recommend her. My 14 year old dog had a big cyst on his eyelid that was becoming infected but my regular vet said it would be very difficult to remove because so much of the eyelid would be gone; he recommended Dr. Burwell. She did such an amazing job that afterward you could not even tell that there had ever been any cyst! The 2 eyelids looked the same. And even though my dog is 14, there were no complications. I highly recommend this doctor!
