The store itself is excellent, clean and well run. I understand it is difficult to work at a store like this, especially late at night. I have seen over and over, employees who work the night shift go from being very nice and grounded men, to very upset, rude, and obviously bothered. I am sure it is because they have had to deal with some unpleasant individuals... I know this gets to anybody. So I suggest this, because I have seen an increase in this area of drug use and otherwise unsavory characters: Please close earlier!!! Stop staying open until midnight, because all you are doing is encouraging the people who should not be going out to get more liquor to come to our community, all so you can make a few more pennies. If a person can not plan to get their liquor safely earlier, you should not be trying to make money off this type of person. It is a huge problem in the USA. Having spent a little time living in Oregon, one thing I enjoyed was that liquor stores closed by 7pm or so. This was great, because it greatly reduced the ability to screw oneself over (and your community in the process). Reduce your hours and I will change my rating to 5 stars. Don't do it for me, do it for your employees and for your community. Thank you for your time and for your lovely and well priced store.

This is a liquor store.. They sell all kinds of alcohol. Very clean, very what you expect in a liquor store. No one speaks English but that's not an issue there. People find what they want, buy it and leave. The end.nI like all the people who work there .

I’m 27 and they refused my ID. I’ve been here dozens of times. I literally work in the alcohol business. Some idiot from Pakistan thought my ID was fake. He then asked me for my credit card to confirm my identity. I gave him the card and he asked for a second card which I also gave him. He sold me the alcohol then forced me to return it. Some idiot from Pakistan gets a job in a neighborhood I’ve lived and worked in all my life and tells me my ID is fake. He’s an idiot and I’m never coming back to M.D. Also I’m going to force all of my friends in BV to stop going to MD.

Best liquor and wine selection in Bennet Valley. Good prices! Snack selection could be improved and more up to date but for drinks it's the place to go. Look for the bargain wine cart when you walk in, some great deals can be found. I wish they stayed open until 1am or 2am. Now that Safeway closes at 1am there is no place to buy hard liquor in the area after 12pm.
