Wanted a good sandwich as we were tired of cheeseburgers. Husband thought of this place. We ordered toasted chicken club sandwiches with clam chowder. Omg lunch was awesome. Sandwich the best I’ve eaten in along time and soup was great, thick, creamy and full of clams. Want a great meal eat here. Even bought sourdough bread to take home. Thanks Boudin for your awesome foos and service.
UPDATE: The manager contacted me the next day to apologize for my experience, refunded my money for the meal, and offered to pay for my next meal there! I was extremely happy to see that good customer service is still a thing! Thank you, Boudin!nnI have been to a couple of Boudin SF restaurants before in the Bay Area and loved them, so I thought this would be similar. Unfortunately it was like a Denny’s with lipstick. All show and no go. I ordered avocado toast and a patty melt. The portions were very small, the sourdough bread tasted like it had been toasted twice and the meat was dry and everything had the look of food that was prepackaged. Needless to say, I was disappointed and won’t plan on going back there any time soon.nnOn a good note, the staff was friendly!
Amazing grilled cheese and soup! Ordered the food for delivery and it was very nicely packed and tasted really fresh and delicious. Nice warm soup for cool day!
This is a pretty cool place to grab a quality quick meal. They bring the food to the table. The sourdough and claim chowder are must get food
Delicious, fresh food and friendly service. My only complaint would be... um, meat on the ENTIRE sandwich not just the portion in the center would be nice. Feels like I'm not getting what I pay for when I open my sandwich and see this EVERY TIME. ud83dude15
