Shoreline Library

They have worked out a system for safe pick up and returns. You do best to make an appointment online before you go. Your requested items will be waiting for you just outside the front door on a table in a bag with your name on it. You just walk up and pick it up. You *can* go without an appointment and wait in line to ask for your requested items but you'll have to wait a bit for them take your card number, then to retrieve them and check them out. Took me 10 minutes last time. Pay attention to library hours! They are limited, and not even every day. And the library will be closed together the second week of October (2020) for some repair work inside.

During the pandemic we're forced to use a new app that doesn't work to pick up library items. Also, I tried to return some items today and the book drop was locked. Don't understand why we can only return items at specific times.

I love this library! Beautiful quite place to get some work done. Or you could just drop in for a quick pick up. There are great community classes and meet-ups. There's so many books, CDs, DVDs, and magazines to fill a lifetime of entertainment for anyone. Large children's section with fun a colorful works of art that appeal to kids amd adults alike.

The one of the best libraries I ever saw! Me and my daughter visited this place today. That is so nice they work on Sundays! I needed to print few sheets of paper because I was far away from the office. Guys explained to me everything I need to do that. My daughter had a lot of fun playing at the library premises. It looks like the square is so huge as a stadium! No problem with parking, nice building surrounded by trees. Since it is King County library (not a Seattle), print is free here. No troubles with cash etc. So clean, well air-conditioned. Of course, personnel guys are so nice! I recommend this place to everyone!
