I really just want to oay off the ticket. Strongly considering moving away from California now. Too much BS everywhere. You can't even pay online. News flash. It would benefit you to get payments online.

I had someone take out a restraining order against me. The person was actually the aggressor and completely lied on the restraining order. Almost everything they wrote was a lie or taken out of context. How is this possible? How can I get served with a restraining order when they were the aggressor? That is not right. Not justice.nnThese people have my stuff & are aggressive to other people too. How is it this easy to lie to a court? They filed false police reports too & the police didn't seem to care much.

My (new) husband and I wanted a low key Halloween wedding. We chose this courthouse as Santa Cruz is a beautiful and quirky/fun location. We were not expecting anything special, but were thrilled with everything! Our paperwork was processed quickly, and we were allowed to go into the wedding room to take pictures. The room was specially decorated with skeletons, spiders, halloween candy, cookies, and even sparkling cider for us. Our officiant was amazing, and dressed as Prince Charming. He read special Halloween-themed vows that were absolutely perfect. Every person we met seemed extremely happy to have us, and very excited to celebrate the holiday! I would definitely recommend this location to any other spooky couples (or any couples, really) who want a beautiful, personal, and fun ceremony. Thank you again so much to the staff of the Santa Cruz Courthouse for making our wedding ceremony a memory we will treasure forever.

Familiar with it's charms, this place hasn't changed very much, in years. The artwork hanging throughout the building is surprisingly, uplifting. The website has improved. It is easier to navigate and more information is accessable. If technology also can help to decrease errors with individual court records, that would be great. Seems like case history is less accurate. One example is the case status of a completed case, incorrectly, shows as being active.nThe Law Library is my favorite spot. It's quaint, quiet and they offer excellent support from behind the counter. Copies can be printed at a modest cost, and most court forms are available. It's just next door to a reasonably priced cafeteria should you develop an appetite for Justice, or just need a little snack.nMake sure you head the signs if you drive here because Parking tickets can and do happen frequently, and can ruin your whole day -so remember to watch your time!!!

Said they were open but were actually closed at noon, November 22nd 2019. Not a federal holiday or any holiday, have no idea why they would be closed and there is no information online about it. Had to take off work and now will have to do so again. Don’t trust open hours for this location.
