Great recommendations on custom framing. Not cheap. But good framing never is.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had two big family portraits to frame and they helped find a perfect material and color that really made the prints pop. I do not have a good eye for this kind of stuff myself, so the fact that they take the time to show you all the options, and place samples (just a frame corner) along side your pictures or paintings so you can see how it will look, is extremely helpful. I will use them for all my framing needs from now on.

I came into this shop because of its stellar reviews and have been delighted on both visits. Both times I had something to hang on the wall that I wanted something special to enhance the piece (usually just frame my own at home with ready-made frames).nnEspecially love the collaborative nature of the staff there. I usually come in with some idea of what I am looking for, but in each case, they made suggestions that made it look even better. Framing and follow up customer service was top notch on both trips. Special thanks to Sophia on this last trip for suggesting that amazing frame!

Just before Christmas I was making 14 frames myself, but I had no idea what I was getting into with trying to do the glass and matting all by myself. I called York to order materials and they were extremely helpful in expediting the materials I needed - 2 large sheets of glass. They even ended up cutting matt for me and teaching me how to effectively cut the glass and the matting in the future. Even in the busiest time of year for them, they were patient with me and treated me as an important customer whom they went the extra mile to assist and make time for. I highly recommend them due to their professionalism and customer service.
