They were unprofessional in their communication and scheduling. I was in search of a new living space, and found a listing from PMI Silicon Valley on Zillow. I was very interested, and submitted a request for a viewing. I received links and texts through which to provide my availability for a viewing. When they received this, they were unavailable for ALL of my requested times (which spanned 3 different days). Fair. People have lives and are busy. So I re-submitted again with different times. Rejected again, then 2-3 more times after I had tried selecting more varied times and days. It seemed that they were unavailable to show the place for any of the upcoming 5 days. This happened over the course of 30 minutes, so frustrated, I called. On the phone, their employee was not very polite, and reluctantly told me to show up for an open house during one of my previously proposed times... Obviously frustrated that they were available to show it to others, but not me, I still accepted. On the day of the showing/open house, I received multiple cancellations from them. At this point, I was no longer interested in their property. I received an email at 8pm the day of the showing (which was supposed to be at 4:30pm) notifying me that my showing was cancelled because I had requested it more than once (accidental, but shows interest?). Further, the email reassured me that I was still on their list for a showing that day at 4:30pm, although it was already well past the showing time at 8pm the same day. Does not make sense. In their signature on their emails is a blue link to give a review, which I tried. The link is invalid and does not work. I expressed that I was disappointed with their handling of the situation, to which I got an email informing me that the property was no longer available. Again, I was no longer interested, although I may have been if they were willing to respond and work with me to show me the property. I've moved 5 times over the past five years, have spend lots of time communicating with leasing agents and landlords and have never had an experience so unprofessional and frustrating.

PMI SV is owned and operated by the amazing Steve McCoy. Don’t be intimidated by the long lease document or move in checklist, it makes sure everyone is on the same page. Had a few minor maintenance needs after move in and Steve had the crew out there within a couple days. I once needed a plumber and the plumber was onsite within hours and knew Steve by name. Pro tip, hire a professional cleaner and carpet shampoo and no issues with deposit back. We rentEd month to month after the first year and annual rent increases were fair and modest. Left after 3.5 years as we bought a place. Thank you PMI SV!

I applied for a house and was told that I get an email to follow up with additional documents. After a week of trying to call and email i get a response from Carol to provide verification documents. She made us (me and my wife) apply and having to pay $80 with all verifications she asked for, then a week later i finally get hold of her and she tells me that she is going to call me right back and never did.nnI had horrible experience with this company, very unprofessional people.

I worked with Deborah, who went above and beyond to assist me with pushing through my application, especially given my time restraints. She worked past regular business hours and was extremely responsive, answering within minutes of my emails. Thank you Deborah and PMI-SV!

Steve and his team have been doing an outstanding job in past 6 years I've been working with them. Highly, highly, recommended.
