What a wonderful school, with a great program that values the growth mindset (though this is not in their brochure and some people think the gifted label precludes it). The program at Helios really instills in the kids the love of learning. I love how they help kids discover internally driven motivations for growth and learning. Our daughter loves the great outdoor space and the many open-ended play opportunities. The space just keeps getting better over time. She and us the parents love how she has a lot of unstructured opportunities to make and build whatever she has in mind. The academic program is challenging without requiring kids to sit still in class, do lots of worksheet and spend hours on homework. This school is a gem. We are so glad we found it and our daughter has the opportunity to go through her childhood here.
