Good school for elementary choice. Not so for middle school. In a middle school only English teacher is doing her job good. Safety is not a concern too here. What is nice.

At Monticello, I felt that the guards really cared about my concerns. When I expressed my opinion, rather than getting me in trouble, they just explicitly told me why I was wrong and that if I do it again, the time out chair was in order. I feel like the students care about each other as well. When I beat everyone at basketball and carried the team, they did not hurt me. They just said I was trash and bad at shooting. In the end, i feel that the guards and other prisoners truly cared for each other. Five stars for incredible care for the prisoners, guards, and warden.

Ok I realize I should have done this when I graduated in 2018, but I'm bored as hell during quarantine and might as well do it now. I had some fun times in this school.

The school really prepares you for being independent in the future, and the regulation on homework is just the right amount. The teachers are understanding, and very kind. There are a couple of students who are insensitive, but overall everyone genuinely cares for one another.

I am giving Monticello academy 2 starts because of the lack of Independence they give to the students and the abundance of homework they give. The only reason I give this school 2 stars is because of the teachers, and how caring they are and how they will go out if their way to help each student. This school does not prepare their kids for high school due to their lack of exposure outside of school, and the lack of independence they give to their students.
