To say ArchVet on Winchester is an excellent Vet would be an understatement. The staff at ArchVet is so caring & patient. Our pet went in for service on 11/19 & the vet has called to check on him twice since then, & plans to check in again in the next several days. They genuinely want to help your pet and are not money driven at all. Our pet came back in the very next day on 11/20 for symptoms that had not subsided & they re-examined him free of charge. Excellent customer service in so many ways. Clean and well maintained facility, organized, responsive via email and telephone. Even their rates are decent & affordable! If you love your pet & you want a vet that will care for & love them too - choose ArchVet. You will not regret it.
Recently visited the ArchVet urgent care clinic on Winchester for the first time, mainly because it’s very close to my home. My sweet 11 year old ex-feral kitty had a urinary blockage, which can be serious or even fatal in male cats, so time was of the essence. I was extremely impressed by and grateful for the quality of service - they were extremely organized and efficient, and have a streamlined COVID-safe operation set up where they come out to your car (in PPE) and let you do the paperwork right there. I also appreciated - more than words can possibly express - the way they treated my dear boy Brodie with obvious respect and compassion and competence. They were able to unblock him and send him home with us the same night, and after a few days of close monitoring and medication at home (plus a new diet), he shows every sign of being on the mend. I loved that one of the techs noted how sweet our boy was; Brodie is very shy around unfamiliar humans, and the fact that someone else was able to see that side of him means they clearly earned his trust, which is not an easy thing. Thank you, ArchVet! I hope we don’t have reason to come back in the foreseeable future, but I will be glad you’re there if we do.
