My husband and I absolutely love South Bay and everyone that works there. They've been there for us during some of our scariest moments. We absolutely trust that they have our pets best interests in mind. Dr. Atwal is an incredible healer who absolutely loves animals and this is reflected in the staff that he chooses to work there. We know that when we take Einstein and Begonia to South Bay, we're confident that there isn't any other place that provides better care.
My dog has been taken to South Bay Animal Hospital twice for emergencies in less than a month. The staff is wonderful. They're extremely communicative, professional, and obviously care for my dog - I mean, he doesn't let just ANYONE pet him on his neck and chin. When they told me the treatment plan, it was always clearly laid out to make sure my dog gets the best care he can get. Let me tell you one thing though - insurance, people, get it. Vets can be expensive but insurance is well worth it because you never know what might happen.nnSouth Bay Animal Hospital has filed on my behalf every time, making it that much less stressful. The last time, they filed without me asking.nnIf you need someone to trust with your best friend in their time of urgent need, it's South Bay you want to take them to. My dog gets his vaccines elsewhere since South Bay is so far from where we live, but I wouldn't take him anywhere else for urgent/emergency care.
I needed to take my cat in late last night due to a sudden leg wound. The staff were quick to respond and gave me a time window to drop him off. Wait times were a little longer than I anticipated (make sure to confirm with them how long the wait will be before you take your pet in!), however once they picked him up they worked incredibly fast to clean him up and come up with a treatment plan. I appreciate their professionalism given the time and how immediate we required attention - thanks Dr. Spencer!
The staff here is very caring and friendly. They are honest about my pets treatment. I trust them with the care of my baby girl and I have for a year now. They've seen her through a bout of pancreatitis that scared me until their doctors assured me in a very professional, informative, and kind way that she was going to be just fine. Love these guys.
I was able to make a same day appt & my dog got the treatment she needed. They took the time to make my nervous puppy comfortable. The people who work their are knowledgeable & friendly.
