Del Mar is a very good school. All good experiences with teachers and staff. Teachers really care about their students education. The coaches on sports teams are really dedicated. They insure their players grades to be eligible to play/ compete. My son has been there for 3 years and no major issues.

The teaching staff is outstanding, they've essentially refreshed their lineup of teachers, and have replaced 95% of all teachers that need to be replaced. Absolutely wonderful students who show up with a purpose, to make themselves a better individual academically and ethically. Administration lacks syndication with the rest of the district, which disallows some students who really are extraordinary to receive the extraordinary respect and attention they have earned.

My sophomore has had a great experience so far. Teachers are very accessible and communicate with you. Great school.

I went to shadow and I couldn't believe it. In one class, the students were fooling around, and it took the teacher 5 MINUTES to quiet the class. Then in another class, someone wrote in caps swear words on the board. And the teacher was not doing anything to stop them.
