Portal World Travel assisted us with planning an incredible multi-stop trip to Portugal. This was my first time working with a travel agency (hi, Millenial here), and I am completely sold on the value of working with one. We got an impressive deal on our flights including an upgrade that we could not have found ourselves, received invaluable assistance on planning our itinerary and activities, and enjoyed the peace of mind while traveling of knowing there was someone back home who would help us if we ran into any trouble. With both my husband and I habitually working long hours, having help with the planning was so critical to being able to really just enjoy the experience and not stress out over the details. When I wanted to take my first cruise in over 25 years, Portal World Travel recommended a cruise on Princess Cruise Line’s Golden Princess to Alaska right out of San Francisco. No flying to Seattle or Vancouver and enough “down time” at sea to get me unplugged from the work-a-day world. They found me the perfect balcony cabin at a price that I thought was unbelievable. The cruise ship they chose had excellent food, excellent entertainment, and it provided a remarkably smooth sailing experience. And the shore excursions they booked for me were small, intimate private tours with only a handful of other travelers. All in all, it was a remarkable and memorable trip. I will definitely be using Portal World Travel for my future travel needs both pleasure and business.

JoAnn and her staff have traveled the world and are very knowledgeable-they find the best hotels and help you find the tour that is right for you.
