Mariner Library - Sno-Isle Libraries

This new branch is wonderful! It's new, looks great it's small but not to small. I feel like it's mine when I'm there instead of feeling like I'm lost in a castle in some of the other branches. The staff is outstanding! They offer to share with you other services and events that may be upcoming at that location or in the community. Nice big conference room for patrons to use and share or you can reserve the space in advance for a 4 hour block of time. So if you desire a more private meeting place for a group to brainstorm or just study, this is a great way to do. You can apply and receive a Library card on the spot, all you need is picture ID. They offer laptop computers to borrow and use during your visit and the laptops are all nice neat and clean with the most current operating systems, browsers and applications. It's very comfortable there and they offer most if not all of the services the bigger branches offer and if they don't, be assured they will direct you to the information for which you seek. I'm thinking about sharing some of my time volunteering there. I think it would be a great experience and working with a staff like that could only provide me with more than I already have to work with, it would definitely better me as a person I believe. You should consider volunteering as well, if you have time of course. It directly across from the Mariner park and ride and only blocks from Mariner High and a couple more schools so it's great for the kids to just walk from school to Library then home with friends hopefully.

Nice quiet place to go read on a rainy day, + you can check out lots of different books and or movies..

Danielle was a fantastic help. Very patient and stuck with me while solving a computer issue. The entire staff was warm and friendly. A great addition to the area.

Small library but has a great selection of books and media. The staff is friendly and deals with everyone the same way. Sure, there peopel that some have deemed less-than-worthy to share the same space, but that's the joy of a public library. It's one of the last places were the public can actually go to and enjoy. At Mariner Library, we can do it without judgement and get a smile, too.

This library is much smaller than the other sno-isle libraries I’ve been to but I love it. They have a small kids area with books and toys, laptops you can checkout for in-library use only, WiFi, print, copy, and sometimes they have activities like storytime or other fun or educational things for kids and/or adults. I really love the staff at this library I don’t know all their names but I do know Danielle does story time and she is always really nice, friendly, welcoming even greeting my daughter by name.
