I've always loved this store. A really good selection of books on a variety of topics, all sold for 50% of the normal retail cost. Half Price Books is also a great place to pick up software, readers, calendars, vinyl, gifts, art project kits, collectible books, stationary and journals, and more. Staff are always friendly and helpful. If you go in and they don't have the title you're looking for, they willl check nearby Half Price Books for you, and call you when the book is in stock. I always check here for books before going anywhere else.
Well run and very clean HPB location. A few customers didn't respect the single person in an alcove sign posted and that was frustrating but that's not on the staff that tried to do the right thing. At least everyone was properly masked and there were a few sanitation stations. The selection was decent except the foreign languages section for Japanese language learning. Didn't have learning books only books in Japanese . But it was nice none the less.
Half price books is an amazing bookstore. Anything from new releases, used books (almost always in great condition), a huge kid section, and assorted gift items. Every employee has been very informative and kind there as well. If you love books for a good deal, this is the store for you!
My favorite chain of bookstore. Being here with money in my pocket is the equivalent to how a kid feels at Disneyland.
