Back parking is closed off. Walking trails wide open, people respectfully distancing. Enjoyable and safe for a moment alone

I've been utilizing this conveniently located local park for as long as I can remember. There are lots of walking paths, one can start up at the top of the hill, at the corner of Westwind and Fletcher Parkway, and walk all the way downhill to the Rec center, under the shade of mature eucalyptus.nIt is a popular destination for popping in to stop and eat your lunch, or to walk your dog, or bring kids to play on the grass.nI often find interesting photo opportunities, especially when recent rainfall encourages new plant grown or floral blooms.

Lovely little gem I never knew existed in El Cajon until last year. Great for exercise or checking out trails or having lunch at the benches. Some homeless around, but everyone is very friendly. I feel safe walking through, even in the evening.
