Absolutely perfect!! The Southern Terrain gave me the adventure of a life time. Not only are they professional and organized but the people involved in the company are really cool. I fell in love with rock climbing after a day out with the guys. Later that year I proposed to my girlfriend.... while rock climbing.
Have been climbing on & off for ~4 years and recently had a trip planned to Southern Cali. Having been Scuba Diving, Whitewater Kayaking & Rafting, Ocean Kayaking, Multi-route hiking, and surfing for many years, I have extensive experience being led by guides and outfitters. My opinion comes from a place of experience and knowledge: The Management, Communication, Guides, and Logistics are second to none. I believe you get what you pay for in life, and my belet partner and I received SO much more than we expected. We spent one day climbing in Joshua Tree National Park, and another in Mission Trails National Park: We learned some new technique in climbing, received consistent positive support, learned the basics of anchor building, historical & natural lessons regarding the macro & micro environment in the region, and did enough challenging climbing to enjoy a nap afterwards. I highly highly recommend this outfitter, and if possible, ask for Joshua & Jonathan.
