4x4 Surf Tours

A friend and I booked a trip to Tahiti through 4x4 Surf Tours and I can easily say it was the best surf trip of my life. We had originally booked in April 2020 but French Polynesia was closed to tourist so we had to rebook for September 2020. Chris at 4x4 Surf Tours helped facilitate the re-book process and even gave us back our deposit despite his business being shut down for the foreseeable future. He is the nicest and easiest surf tour operator I've worked with and I do trips like this at least once a year. He took time to answer any question we had and was very knowledgeable. Everything was smooth and effortless once we arrived in Tahiti. We had dedicated guides who now feel like lifelong friends. They drove us where we needed to go, took us out to the wave every session, shared their local knowledge on the wave and local adventures. Plus they cooked every meal for us and it was some of the best food I've ever had. Lot's of fresh tuna, fruits and other local cuisine. I am now looking forward to taking a Baja, Mexico trip with Chris sooner than later after having such a great first experience with his guided surf tours.

All around an awesome experience! I’m no stranger to Baja but this trip was definitely my most enjoyable. 4x4 Surf Tours handled everything and took all of the distracting, and sometimes stressful guess work out of a trip. All the while not missing any important details that make an adventure super fun, yet comfortable and safe. The food was unreal, we scored waves, and had good vibes all around the campfire.

This was one of the best surf trips I've ever done! Our guide did an amazing job and took care of everything including preparing delicious meals and getting us to the best waves at the right time/tide. Beautiful desert landscapes, pumping point breaks with no crowds, and having incredible food around the camp fire after a long day of surfing...what else can you ask for? I can't wait to do more trips with them in the future!

Where to begin!? Baja was such an awesome trip. Chris had the perfect balance of professionalism and surf adventurer. He was super knowledgeable about all the surf spots we visited and even though mother nature did not behave as we hoped some days, he improvised and made the most of the conditions. When the surf was down he took us on some awesome 4x4 trails looking for more waves, got us on some really good fishing holes, delicious taco shops and provided beautiful camp fire views.
