Academy Animal Hospital

I found the kind, caring Vets at Academy Animal Hospital took time to diagnose my pet accurately, explain to me in clear language what was wrong with him, and provide me with medication to help him. My dog got well quickly and I was greatly relieved. They called a few times to check on his progress. I would recommend this business very highly to others looking for an honest, careful, accurate diagnosis for their ill pet.

We have been taking our dogs to the Academy Animal Hospital for a few years now and have been very satisfied and quite impressed with the staff and doctors. Dr. Dave Zanders has done a fantastic job of taking care of all their needs, and he goes above and beyond in explaining diagnoses and treatments. I'd give Academy Animal Hospital at least one more star than my HMO!

I have used Academy Animal Hospital since my dog was 8 weeks old, and she is now 5 1/2. I also use three other Vet Hospitals in different locations on a regular basis. The other Hospitals are good, but Academy is a cut above the rest. They have a full complement of employees, and starting with Mary Jane. whose smile extends right through the phone, and sweet Michelle, and exceptional Jay. I only know two of the vet techs,e Nan and Danny, and they are both kind and gentle. Not to be overlooked is Misha, the office manager. Misha is why the office runs so smoothly. Because of stomach problems my dog needs special food, and that food requires a prescription. During my frequent travels, Misha has located and called vets in various cities, making it possible for me to obtain Noodles' Hill's W/D dog food. The four veterinarians that work at Academy own the Hospital, and collectively they must have at least one hundred years of experience. They don't hesitate to consult with one another should there be a need. My dog has seen Dr. Zanders (Dr.Z,) Dr. Reiman, and Dr Serrano. The only veterinarian that she hasn't seen is Dr. Beccari, but I've heard people speak highly of him. Of the three doctors that we've seen, we don't have a favorite. All three are excellent, and very personable, with animals of their own. I feel very fortunate to live near Academy but, without hesitation, I would drive many miles for their care. They are also well versed when it comes to travel. They have helped me multiple times obtain the proper paperwork to fly to Hawaii with my dog.
