Négociant for me is one of the top places for wine In SD. Unpretentious, relaxed and with a descent coffee place inside(lets be honest, this is a HUGE PLUS+++) I will gladly give them five stars. In the midst of the pandemic, instead of taking advantage of their clients(like MANY other business do) and have only $15.00 -up items from the food menu; here they have six options and the most expensive one is $11.00 ! I don’t know about you, but I feel like this type of business practice should me rewarded with our support. So next time you feel like having some wine, why not come here and have a nice glass of wine, or your morning cappuccino here-btw the wine is great and also the service, friendly and knowledgeable-

Négociant Winery Love, love, LOVE this place. Excellent wines and an amazing restaurant on site. Delicious!!! They use to offer free tastings but there's a small charge for a few pours.

This is a hidden gem! Great wines, great ambiance, great service! They have great food too, which was surprising...chicken sandwich is so freaking good I come here sometimes for that and stay for the wine. They also have a wine club that is such a good deal, and you end up making friends with everyone else in the club, Such a good deal! $40 for 4 glasses or tastings plus one bottle every month! Wow!

Good reds, fun tasting room with a great event space. Staff friendliness and customer service is hit or miss. The wine club benefits are sparing; along with the monthly bottle of wine, you get four- exactly-complimentary tastings or glasses of wine (does not include a tasting for a friend like other urban wineries), and most glasses have a mark up fee of $4-6 if you select a glass of wine above their standard red or white.

Definitely don't recommend coming here when there are so many other options in San Diego. The wine was decent, although a little overpriced for its quality, but the reason I give Negociant a bad review is that customer service wasn't very good at all and the food was pretty bad. We had to wait an hour for the cheese and charcuterie plate, and after all that wait the meat and cheese tasted really old and stale.
