This is a very convenient station to a lot of fast food places. The biggest problem with this station is its proximity to the US Navy base at San Diego. Drivers come and go through that base and pay absolutely no attention to the crosswalk, putting the lives of pedestrians at risk every day. Use EXTREME caution when crossing at the Navy base entrance because no one pays attention to you, ever! Be ready to yell at drivers to get their attention. I am sadly not kidding.

Also know that when it rains, this station can flood to your calves easily.
