Dentistry by Design is the best dental office I have EVER been to. Everyone from the Dr, to the receptionist knows exactly what they are doing and they are extremely concerned with your comfort and happiness with the finished product. I had an excellent first experience at Dentistry By Design. All the staff from beginning to end were helpful, knowledgeable and made me feel very welcome.nnEllen, the Dental Hygienist, made my cleaning fun but also she had so many tips on how to better clean my teeth and keep my mouth healthy.nnDr. Ionesco was very thorough and really wanted to make me a happy patient.nnDon’t think twice about using this office for your dental needs. I would highly recommend them.

Being new to the Elk Grove area, we were not sure who to chose as a dentist for our family. Dentistry By Design was recommended by a friend. We were able to obtain an appointment right. The office staff, hygienist and the dentist were extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable. I suffer extreme anxiety with the dentist and I felt very at ease. Having sensitive teeth and gums, the dental cleaning was painless.

I am very happy that I was referred to Dentistry by Design. I was given several reminders of my appointment date and time. My appointment fell during the second wave of COVID 19. I called the office to let them know I was in the parking lot. A representative came out and took my temperature and asked about my over all health. I put on my mask and followed her into the office. I was asked to use the touch-less hand sanitizer before I went into the exam room.nnI was given a full set of x rays and pictures. After a thorough deep cleaning of my teeth Dr. Ionescu came in to do his exam. This was the first time I had a dentist do an oral cancer screening. My Father In Law was diagnosed with stage 4 mouth cancer a few years ago. His dentist did not realize that the teeth he was loosing might be a sign of cancer until the cancer had already eaten away a large section of his upper palate.nnDr. Ionescu brought several dental issues that we would need to keep an eye on. He also showed me a picture of a back molar with an old metal filling in it. The tooth was horribly cracked with at least 4 cracks that were discolored. The tooth had been in trouble for at least 10 years. I was very upset that it had not been brought to my attention by my prior dentist, as I would have had it repaired long ago. I also wasn't aware that I had any metal fillings in my mouth. It was an upper molar in the very back. I would like to have been made aware of that so I could have had it removed after we learned how bad those fillings are for our overall health. I decided to make an appointment right away to have the filling removed and do our best to save the tooth with a crown.nnI am one of those people who actually does floss every day and do my best to take good care of my teeth. I am very happy that I have found a dentist who is proactive on preventative care. My goal is to keep all my teeth for the rest of my life.nnDr. Ionescu is not only a perfectionist, but also a kind and gentle man. My only hope is that he NEVER retires! I have found my dentist for life.

I am so impressed with Dentistry By Design.. I would give them 10 stars. Ellen was so personable and caring and most of all gentle the whole time she was cleaning my teeth. I had no pain or discomfort. She is just wonderful.nI found that a deep cleaning was needed. She took her time to numb the gum before the injection. When she did the injection there wasn't any pain or discomfort. She would ask how I was doing or if I needed anything. The whole office is like that..YOU are important and so is your experience. Thank you Dentistry By Design. I'm not afraid nor dreading the dentist any more...
