Safeway Arlington WA. used to be a great place to shop. They took out their self checkouts awhile back and now each time I'm there I find myself waiting in a line.nThe employees in the deli need help.. I rarely see two employees helping customers at the same time. Normally just one ... even though there are several walking around doing everything but helping customers who wait.nAre they in need of supervision? Or training?nOr both...?nI only go there now when I absolutely have to. There are a few good employees that work there.. Sadly I don't see them very often. What happened to good customer service?
I love this Safeway. The employees know you on sight, are so helpful & friendly. I had just had my eyes dilated one evening, and a young woman who works here saw me struggling, because I could not see my list. She got my list of about 20 our so items and went with me around the store to get all my stuff. She offered to do it for me, but there are different brands and such. She checked me out when we were done and loaded up my car. That was about 5 years ago. She still works there and is always ready to help, as is the rest of the amazing people there.
