I have worked with community care for a few years. All departments from therapy, nursing, activities and social services have been amazing. They have a new Administror Andy who you might bump into at any time even 9pm! He has invested a lot of time in making sure this place is running with quality care. Andy is very involved and he truly cares for his residents and staff.

My Brother Bruce has been in the care there at Community Care and Rehabilitation for the past 9 months. His case has been complicated and the entire staff including nurses, administrators, Social Workers, and those in the Business Office have been such a blessing to both my brother and myself. Navigating the best care for a family member to include ensuring they are covered under Medi-Cal, getting the right treatments, and understanding how each part of the systems work together is complicated and overwhelming. Janet, Maricela and the staff there at Community Care and Rehabilitation Riverside have gone above and beyond to help me advocate for my brothers well being.nnCOVID has placed additional stressors on the healthcare professionals and staff. Patients are also feeling the impact. Even through this period,nthey have continued to provide exceptional care under the most trying circumstances. My Brother Bruce did test positive and was immediately moved into into a COVID ward with other positive COVID patients. This was a scary time for both my brother and I. I emailed Janet, the Head Social Worker outside business hours and she replied immediately. This attention to detail and professionalism during a crisis is impressive. My brother is doing well and I know he is in good hands there.

I'm so grateful for them to take my dad who's a medi-cal patient. I worked with Carlos and Cindy, and they were a great help. they were all so nice to me and my sister, one time i got so hungry bec. i had to wait for their paperwork, i told them that i needed to step out bec. im diabetic and i needed to eat. and Cindy was nice enough to offer me a sandwich. i mean who does that right? but anyway, the staff are very nice as well. i'm so glad that they also call me on step by step basis with my dad, when he goes through admissions by testing him, if he's put to regular rooms, stuff like that. its just a peace of mind. i was a caregiver to my dad, and i'm finally at ease that he's in good hands.nnone thing i dont like is the parking, its so hard to find one specially in the afternoon, ughhh please let your employees park somewhere else, dont let them use the visitors parking.

I called four times to find out what room number my sister was in and no one seemed to know where she was. I understand why the reviews are horrible. I can only imagine the care given.

The State Auditors have given this facility a rating of 1 out of 5. That alone speaks for itself. DO NOT send your family member here. The staff will steal the personal belongings of your loved one every chance they get. RUN as fast as you can away from this place.
