This School...Is Scary!! I Honestly Wish There Was Less Drama. Everyone Should Love One Another Or Atleast Hide Their Feelings. Some People Are Good And Some Are Just Fake. Lucky The School Year Is Almost Over. THANK GOD

I live one block over from this school, next to the park. Each day I watch these kids walk down my block trashing the yards of those of us that live here. They're fights, I have called the school on numerous occasions to seek help on the behavior, of these teens. They don't care one bit to how these teens are destroying the yards, the fights or any other matter. Then to have them conduct field trips to the part, I watch students in bunches before a school escort arrive, the behavior is far worse than having no supervision. They trash it even worse. I refuse to have my girls attend this school. If there is a board of education supervisor or parents that care about their child's safety, and or education they need to address it. Even someone higher-up do something I have seen better education and safety regulations in schools in South Central L.A . Teachers, security, and principal need to be held accountable for the mess they continue let go on here. I will home school my girls pay for private school before I trust my girls education or safety to those whom work at this mess, I call it mess, because school is far too good to put them in that category.

My experience at Lakeside was great. I've attended this middle school for my seventh and eighth grade years. The teachers that I've had were very friendly and helpful. I also liked how they let us have fun and Fridays and have little events in the school's courtyard. Every school is not perfect. Each one has its own good sides and bad sides. But the best thing to do is to focus on yourself and keep away from bad influences. :-)

I wouldn’t blame the school for any of the issues, at first it seemed okay, the school system, programs and staff were good. The office always took care of our concerns. The real problem in there are students and maybe parents that don’t care about their kids. My daughter attended there for 7th grade, we couldn’t wait for the school year to be over and move from the area. Comments about the park being used as a trash can and kids hanging in there being loud are true, they’re very un respectful, I was scared of them when parking close! Of course, she’s not going back for 8th grade, we had enough of bullying, social network attacks and misconduct from other kids towards her. So sad.
