A recent bad experience somewhere else reminded me of a great experience I had here a few years ago. I was visiting Auburn and walking down this street at night looking at the closed shops. I came to this shoe store and they had a pair of Merrill shoes on sale in the window. I had been wanting a pair and I saw the owner inside. I tapped on the window to ask when they opened the next day hoping I could come by before I left town. He asked if I wanted something and I pointed to the shoes. He said well come on in; and then he didn’t just rush me out but sat me down, measured my feet... went in the back and brought a couple pair to try on... and then when done; he rung me up and I bought a pair. He knew I was not from there, would not be a regular customer... but still took the time to provide incredible service above and beyond what was necessary...
I really liked the boots I bought last year. I had been having foot pain so I bought good boot with awesome arch support. I went in this year needing to replace the insoles. Of cource I bought another pair of boots. My feet are so happy now. Thank you
