I wish I would have started taking my pets to Skagit Animal Clinic a long time ago. I couldnt get thru to my regular vet. No one was answering the phone and I left messages with no callback. I called Skagit Animal Clinic and from the first phone call I got a very caring vibe. They got my kitty an appointment in a timely manner. Unfortunately my kitty had a tumor and it had already progressed. The vet that took care of her truly cared. I got genuine calls to check to see how Laura was doing after her appointment. Laura crossed the rainbow bridge last week and I wanted her cremated. The staff were so respectful and understanding. We had only been a patient there for one visit and they treated us like Laura had been a long time patient. When I picked up Laura's ashes today they came in a pretty wood box and included an impression of her paw and some of her fur. It was beautifully arranged. I have had all my animals cremated and my previous vet always just handed the little wood box in a brown cardboard box. Nothing fancy. Thank you to the staff for the care you showed.

My cat was in a fight and had an open wound as well as a scab elsewhere. Having recently moved to the area I needed to find a vet. I scored on the first call. The receptionist understood the urgency and got us in that morning. Following COVID 19 procedures the vet tech picked up my cat from the car, the vet examined him and came out to the car to explain Bochy’s condition and suggest a course of treatment. They cleaned him up and stitched him up and sent him home that afternoon with meds; again, after the vet came out to my car to explain his condition. Skagit Animal Clinic is doing an excellent job under trying circumstances. Judging by the busy parking lot other pet owners appreciate their passion and care as well. If I could give more stars I would.

The wait time and waiting in the car was a drag, but understandable due to Covid. Otherwise the people were nice and my dog made an impression on them, haha.
