Called ahead of time to get an oil change. They said they don’t take appointments and I should come in later. I came in at the time they told me to and he said they couldn’t do it that day and I’d have to wait until next week. For an oil change. Honestly, he couldn’t care less about me as a customer, it seemed. I think the only thing keeping them in business is the lack of other options in the area... I guess I’ll change my oil whenever I go out of town.
Don't to do the tire shop @ 6:00 they are closed, the store is open.
They do the work fine, but I feel a huge disconnect between the mechanics and me as the customer. Hardly a greeting, let alone a face to face chat about the work that was done. I often get there midday, and they seem to have a long lunch break that makes our wait longer. Not my favorite place, but since we are local, it's hard to find another place.
Super fast and friendly service patching a flat, got us back on the road in less than 20 mins!
Clint, the owner, did sold us a rugged set of 10 ply tires after a worn medium duty failed driving through Valley of the Gods. We had to wait a day for them to be shipped, but they arrived as promised for our 10 am appointment,,, An hour later we were rolling down the road. Clint gave me advice on driving rough rocky roads (lower tire pressure to 25 pounds) and set us up with tires blown up to 50 pounds that easily handle our pickup and camper weight. Thanks Clint!
P.S. Across the street and near by is the classic eating place "Pop's Burritos and Axe Throwing". Where else can you eat a burrito while throwing an ax? Only in Blanding!
