We are so thankful for the Futures Academy (formerly Halstrom when we started). Their method of teaching and the environment they have created has led to our son finally having success in school where he was literally slipping through the cracks despite all of our attempts to get him the support he needed in the public and private school systems. If your child is struggling or doesn't like school - then I would strongly suggest meeting with the Futures Academy to learn more about their individual education plans for tutoring or completing entire classes. For us, it is worth every penny! We now have hope for our son to achieve much more in life beyond high school once he is graduated. His confidence has grown exponentially since the teachers have helped him learn in a way he can understand where traditional methods were not working at all.

Futures Academy (formerly Halstrom) is a fantastic school, filling a critical gap in our education system. Two of my boys have been there and benefitted hugely from their one-on-one teaching and training. I found there was no better way to get the education “into” the heads of my boys than with their one-on-one, eye-to-eye teaching. Mary runs a PERFECT program and all the staff have been extremely responsive and helpful. And they provided a seamless connection between their Academy and my children’s main campuses. Credits transferred easy and without issue. Futures Academy is as a critical resource for adding those extra classes or for making up for poor performances or for getting ALL the education, credits, and knowledge truly embedded into the heads of students.

Halstrom Academy has been an absolute revelation for our younger daughter who, for a variety of reasons, was not well-suited to a traditional high school setting. She has prospered at Halstrom thanks to the individualized, one-on-one teaching set up and is now well-placed to apply to some excellent four-year colleges this autumn. The school is highly professional and has successfully striven to accommodate our daughter's needs and interests. My wife and I are very thankful and would highly recommend Halstrom to any parent whose child would benefit from a non-traditional high school setting without sacrificing high educational standards and intellectual rigor.

This is by far the best decision we made of our daughter's education. Regular school setting wasn't working for her anymore and her GPA was suffering greatly. Now I'm happy to say she has a 4.0 GPA and she's enjoying all her classes. The staff is very accommodating and everyone is friendly.
