I started visiting OC Wellness when I was 20 weeks pregnant. I originally started because myself being a tiny person (5”3 and 115lbs) and pregnant, I was experiencing bad lower back pain. After my first adjustment with Dr. Richard, I immediately felt better. I did some reading about how chiropractors and acupuncture help tremendously during pregnancy and decided it was something I wanted to treat myself to. The following week I was in a major car accident that resulted in a totaled car and pain everywhere. I started going weekly up until 33 weeks pregnant and I now feel brand new. The weekly adjustments fixed my back and my neck real nice, and I kept up with stretching and rehabbing my back in between to also help. I did acupuncture sessions with Noemi where she addressed all the issues I was having being pregnant such as heartburn, lack of sleep, and dealing with my emotions. After every session I felt so relaxed and my heartburn actually went away! Since I was pregnant I also had the option to switch my acupuncture to a massage if I wanted to so I received 3 prenatal massages and wow. Veronica spent time on my problem areas digging in where I had horrible knots, and I’d walk out of the room feeling like I was floating.nnMy baby has been in the head down position since 26 weeks and now at 33, she is basically ready to enter the world! At my last ultrasound, the techs were amazed that she was already in ready position, and that she had SO much room in my uterus to move around! They asked me what I’ve been doing that I was already in the ideal stage for giving birth and I told them, chiropractor and acupuncture! I 100% believe that my weekly sessions helped prepare my baby and my body for the birthing experience. While doing my weekly sessions, I stayed active. Stretching my back out, taking my dogs on walks, and using my yoga ball every day. All of these things together helped me feel like a new person ready to take on this new role I’ll be claiming pretty soon. I will definitely be back a few times before giving birth, and after, me and my little will for sure be in to visit and help mom get adjusted to feel herself!nnThank you guys so much for everything you did for me. This has been an amazing experience.

Great atmosphere, great attitudes, welcoming, and helpful. Not to mention the treatment plans and physical therapy are second to none. Go often, take all recommendations and instruction... And let them get you back to the best possible condition for your situation.

I've been going here for over a year and my experience with everyone at this facility has been so amazing. They are caring, compassionate, and genuinely want to help you feel better. I've used their acupuncture, acupressure, pilates, physical therapy, massage therapy, medical facility (nerve block injections for my chronic headaches, B12 injections, trigger point injections), and chiropractic services. Everything at this facility is helpful in one way or another. Highly recommend giving it a try!
